If it's your first time travelling during the COVID-19 pandemic, you'll notice a range of new regulations and rules in place. Take note of these tips and make your trip to Isla Loma Partida a smooth one:

• Research if any travel restrictions apply to your destination and origin before booking. Also check if there are any special conditions you'll need to follow on arrival, such as proof of a negative COVID-19 test.
• When you pass through airport screening, do not remove your face mask. You will be required to briefly lower it to confirm your identity. Those who refuse to wear a mask may face civil penalties and may also be escorted from the building.
• Avoid handing your boarding pass (paper or electronic) directly to a TSA employee. Rather, position the pass on the reader and then hold it up to allow the agent to visually inspect it.
• You're allowed to take one container of hand sanitizer up to 12 oz (350 ml) in your carry-on luggage. This will need to be removed for X-ray screening.
• Place any personal items (like your phone, wallet and keys) in your carry-on rather than a bin to minimize handling during screening.
• Transport all food items in a clear plastic bag and also put them in a screening bin. Keeping food separate from your carry-on means it's less likely a TSA officer will need to touch and open your bag for inspection.
